I agree with living below your means, and pinching Pennies, but tithing was very big for us. Even when we really couldn’t quite pay our bills, we still returned 10% to the Lord, and in one way or another our bills always got paid. And after a few decades our house was paid off as well.

Thank you for the last tip. I'm a SAHM in an abusive relationship that I can't leave because I'm broke. Despite my bf being a lawyer the personal allowance I get is barely enough for me to cover my debt let alone get my own place so I have been looking for jobs that will allow me to still raise my children and finally leave . Hueco Tanks is a must see. I grew up in El Paso, and now live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I often tell my children about the epic climbing and exploring I did as a child at Hueco Tanks.

El Paso is regularly named one of the worst cities in Texas. There is nothing to do and Juarez has been known as the murder capital of the world for years. There's a reason why no professional teams, amusement parks, or big-name entertainment venues are interested in being in El Paso.
